We understand that the recent news and uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 situation may have caused you to re-think your travel plans and future travel options. We are continually monitoring the situation, including travel restrictions and updates to travel policies that may impact you.

All domestic inter-island flights suspended from March 21 to April 30

As of today, March 18th Air Rarotonga regrets to inform you that we have stopped sales on all flights until April 30th. We will review our flight schedule for May at the end of this month.

Air Rarotonga will suspend all scheduled inter-island air services as from midnight on the 21st March 2020, following travel restrictions announced by the Cook Islands Government in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. At this stage, the suspension is in place until 30th April 2020 and is subject to constant review. Further extension is likely given the uncertainties surrounding the timeframe of the pandemic. All international flights to Tahiti suspended from March 21 to May 30

Air Rarotonga and Air Tahiti had to suspend all scheduled air services between Rarotonga and Tahiti until the 31st of May 2020, following travel restrictions announced by the Cook Islands and Frenc Polynesia governments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. At this stage, the suspension is in place until the 31st of May 2020 and is subject to constant review. Further extension is likely given the uncertainties surrounding the timeframe of the pandemic.
